We at Argus Software are supremely
aware that in today’s global economy the way a project is managed
makes the difference between success and failure. In fact, as it
has been noted in a number of recent studies, more than half of
all offshore outsourcing initiatives fail to meet cost savings and
contract performance targets.
That’s why our on-shore management team has developed an integrated,
web-based project management and collaboration environment that
allows us to keep a tight control of all project phases from planning
to delivery, smoothing the overall organizational process and
ensuring that the performance and quality criteria are met or
exceeded.
Pre-Planning
We first try to understand your exact business needs and project
requirements. In this stage we discuss goals and timeframes, expose
potential issues and risk factors and produce some preliminary
architectural requirements. In the end we come up with a proposal.
Design Plan
We then develop a high level project plan. As the plan gets further
developed, we add detail, and track the project as it proceeds,
so that you can see how the project is progressing to plan.
Prototype
Our design phase provides us a road map that we can share with
you. Typically, our design phase includes a prototype showing
user screens, forms, and navigation. With this prototype, you
gain a deeper understanding of how the product meets your needs.
Testing, Functional Releases
As proponents of the Extreme Programming methodology, we emphasize
early and continuous testing during development, short design
cycles, and flexibility for customer design changes. As a result,
delivery includes validation tests, extremely valuable for evaluating
ongoing upgrades.
Beta Delivery, Documentation, Implementation
We work with you and listen to your feedback in order to minimize
the costs and risks while providing maximum benefit. Thorough
testing and training assure that results will be user-friendly,
functional, and bug-free. Typically our involvement doesn't end
with simple delivery. We will work with you during the installation,
and always offer maintenance, update services, documentation and
training services.
